We are hosting a week long exhibition the first week in April 2019 entitled “Healthy and Sustainable Futures” This will be held in the Playfair Library and will launch on Monday the 1st April 2019 at 4pm. The opening event on the 1st April will be hosted by Dr Gemma Flynn and will include a welcome from the Principal Peter Mathieson, talks from Professor Devi Sridhar, Head of College Moira Whyte and Michael Miller from Advantage - Edinburgh's Disability Tennis Programme http://www.edinburghdisabilitytennis.co.uk/

Every day from Tuesday to Friday we will open the exhibition to the public from 10-4pm and will have 2 sessions each day at 9.30am and 1.30pm where each of our 4 core research team will give a short session including hands on craft activities for children broadly related to their topic of research. The children attending these sessions will be selected through our Widening Participation initiative at the University. https://www.ed.ac.uk/student-recruitment/widening-participation.

The main purpose of the exhibition itself is to engage and educate the public. We would like the children (and adults with them) to take away a better understanding of what Global Health means for the future.
